[pharmacological action]polypeptide antibiotic, which is an alkaline cationic surfactant, passed with bacteria.

The phospholipids in the cell membrane interact with each other, infiltrate into the bacterial cell membrane, destroy its structure, and then cause the membrane permeability to change, leading to the death of bacteria and the production of bactericidal action.

This product has a strong antibacterial effect on aerobic bacteria, e. coli, haemophilus, klebsiella, bacillus, pseudomonas aeruginosa, salmonella, shigella and other gram-negative bacteria.Gram-positive bacteria are generally not sensitive.There is a complete cross - resistance between the polymycin B, but no cross - resistance with other antimicrobial agents.

Pharmacokinetics is rarely absorbed by oral administration, but it is absorbed quickly by non-gastrointestinal tract.Drugs entering the body can be rapidly distributed into the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and skeletal muscles, but not easily into the spinal cord, chest cavity, joint cavity and infection.It is mainly excreted by the kidneys.
